1. Mobile applications: from developer monopoly to free market
Let's start by quoting the movie 'Blade Runner': 'I've seen things you people wouldn't believe (...)'.
In case you are under thirty-five, the quote fits perfectly with your experience because you will find it unbelievable that in 1993 each mobile had only four applications (hereinafter "apps") in contrast to the 8.93 million in the 1st quarter of 2022 -according to the consulting firm RiskIQ-.
Apart from the enormous difference in magnitudes, there is a second one: then, only the developer decided which applications were carried on the device, which new were installed and when this process was carried out. The asymmetry between developer and user ended in 2008 with the 'markets', where the different 'tech' firms made possible to acquire and install new software.
From that year onwards, apps came into our lives. Today they offer an endless range of possibilities of which we will mention ten:
- To surf the World Wide Web
- To take short videos or pictures
- To choose your preferred means in order to explore interpersonal communication
- To check if that long-awaited e-mail has arrived
- To hold business meetings
- To limit apps use time
- To play or tuning a musical instrument, taking classes in: relaxation, yoga, meditation, dance, etc.
- To search for, planning and carrying out leisure activities
- To choose call in the traditional way
- To do business with the administration or, as we will discuss in the next section, with private companies such as ours.
2.1. Some of the functions of our app
Nowadays, designing our "app" was the natural step to continue bringing our services closer to you.
According to experts, the instantaneousness of apps combined with the ubiquity of cell phones make an unbeatable combination in the short and medium term. However, apps have two drawbacks:

When designing our "app" we have kept in mind this motto: 'your time is gold and your attention is a privilege". Therefore our 'app' is: practical, very quick and easy to understand.
We highlight the following functionalities:
a) Check, create and notify incidents.
For whom do we think this data search? Indistinctly for: owner, tenant or supplier.
b) Download the rental contract
For whom have we think this data search? Mainly for tenants.
c) Review the rent charged.
For whom have we think this data search? Mainly for the owners
d) Control how many community fees you have paid in a given year
For whom have we think this data search? Mainly for the owners.
e) Find out what invoices I have collected this year
For whom have we think this data search? Mainly for our suppliers.
2.2. How do I can download Finques Feliu's "app" step by step?
0. Open our website on your cell phone: https://www.feliu.es/en
1. Click on the three parallel lines in the upper right corner.
2. Once the menu has been displayed, click on 'the clients and suppliers area' (this is the last option).
3. Then we access the dialog box: "user" and "password". Here you can choose between five languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, German and French.
Then enter your existing user with the corresponding password (create the user or reset the password if you have forgotten it), finally, click "enter".
4. Click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.
5. Once the menu is displayed, click on "add to home screen" (it is the fourth option from the bottom and/or the eighth from the top).
Now you should see on the home screen of your cell phone the icon of our app (called "FinquesFeliu").
